Morgan was playing the wii today playing a game with an obstacle course. Julianne wanted to copy her so she built her own obstacle course---out of books. Here she is running across them.
Last night I woke up around 3:30 in the morning because Julianne was wanting a bottle. I noticed outside that it had snowed a little on the ground. Looking a little closer at the snow I noticed tire marks, from a car, in our yard. The tire marks had gone about a foot from our house and the car had knocked down my cute weeping willow cherry tree. I looked more closely at the tire marks and noticed two sets of them. The foolish driver, after exiting off of our property, put the car in reverse and went back the same way he went. The car could have crashed into our house, but thankfully it didn't. I'm thinking this was deliberate because this person went into reverse over his same tracks. I hope from the pictures you can see the tire marks and the broken tree, as well as the moved grate on our window well.
Julianne is finally able to reach things she couldn't before. She can now open doors and here is a picture of her with her glass reaching the water dispenser in the fridge. What will she be able to do next?
Julianne didn't learn how to say any words until a lttle after she was 2 years old. She still doesn't say a whole lot , but one of the things she says is thank you after I give her something, followed by and immediate your welcome. Today Jared was off to work and said good bye to Julianne and instead of saying good bye like she usually does, Julianne said "Your Welcome"!
I remembered to look for this outfit Julianne is wearing in the storage closet. It's a little short, but it works. Morgan wore it once at Scott and Jenny's Wedding.
I heard Julianne say catch it and wondered why she was saying that. When I went to see what she was doing I saw her playing catch with her doll.
This year I didn't get to follow my regular tradition of going to one of my parent's house for thanksgiving. None of them were available, so I had thanksgiving with my in laws. Julianne slept through the dinner though and we couldn't have the dinner at Jared's grandma's house, so we had it at his parents house.
It's hard to take a picture of a 2 year old, so when I went to pose her and she stayed, i was thrilled. Here she is posing for me.
This year for Halloween, my devil child, Morgan was a devil, and my angel child, Julianne was an angel. We stayed home this year again instead of going to Jared's parent's house. The girls had so much fun playing with the smoke of the dried ice we bought.
Tonight Morgan and I put up some scary spider webs inside our house. We have a huge spider that we put in the web. See if you can find it.

This past week, My brother graduated from BYU with an MBA. For all of you who could'nt be there, here is a picture of me and the graaduate.
Morgan started 2nd grade today. We barely found out who her teacher was this morning. She was so excited to start today that she was up at 6:30 am. Crazy girl. She finally has her own room in our huge house so that means she has to sleep in her own bed from now on. HEre are some pictures in her new room with her new backpack.
Well, we finally had the Lloyd family reunion in Idaho near Twin Falls. It was the first of many to come. Some of them will be probably in Arizona where some of the Lloyds live. It was a trip full of mosquitos, fun, swimming, food and mingling. Julianne wouldn't hold still long enough for me to socialize, but at least I tried. Today is Julianne's 2nd Birthday. She was born at 7:15 pm at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Julianne has grown into a sweet child. Even under all her temper tantrums and whining, she can be the sweetest girl. I can't wait to spend many more years as her mom.
Julianne will be two in a couple of days, and it seems she understands and follow directions better now. I told her to give her daddy a kiss, so she grabbed his head and planted one right on the lips.
CHerry Hill is a water park in Kaysville , Utah . I guess the new tradition in the Newbold family is to celebrate some July birthdays there. Here are a few pictures from our very long and hot outing at Cherry Hill. Jared was brave enough to bring his camera snd video camera into the water.
This past weekend my family got to see the Thunderbirds at an air show in layton utah. The show was exhilirating even though we've seen them a couple of times already.
One day when I was putting the dishes away from teh diswasher, Julianne grabbed some of the silverware and put it into the kitchen drawer. Now she does it all the time and I put it away for her in the right spot.
