Food

Posted by becky

It seems that Julianne loves food so much that even after being fed her normal amount of food, she still begs for more from other people in the house. She also pretends there's food on empty plates. Here she is with a fork and plate pretending to eat. She even has to lick the plate clean to get every drop.

Puppies

This past weekend Mckinley Lloyd had her babtism. Afterwards we went to her house to visit and to our surprise there were little puppies in the backyard. Brian wanted to make some money so he had his dog Bo have puppies. Here are the girls seeing puppies for the first time.

Princess Dress

Posted by becky

For the past few years, Jared's mom has gone and bought a pretty dress for Morgan for Christmas. I have loved all of them. She calls them their princess dress because she thinks they look like princesses in them. Well last year she bought a burgundy dress for Morgan and a orangy red dress for Julianne. I loved both of them, but together, the colors clashed. So this year, Jared's mom has let me pick them out and she'll pay for them. I was so excited that once I recieved the money, I went straight to the one store with all the gorgeous girl dresses. I had to take Morgan with me because she wanted to help pick it out, which ruined the surprise- I hope my mother in law doesn't mind. When we got to the store I had the perfect dress picked out, but Morgan hated it. After about and hour we finally picked a decent dress- not my favorite, but good enough and Julianne has a matching dress too. Both dresses are a royal purple which you can't tell from the picture. They're mad out of a shiny taffeta material.

Early Christmas

I Know it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I already decorated for Christmas. We have two trees-one for the living room and one for the family room. Here are some of the rooms I decorated.

Morgan was twirling around today and accidently fell and hurt herself. But who was to come to her rescue? Julianne of course. She walked over to Morgan and hugged and patted her to make her feel better. I quickly got my camera to capture my sweet Julianne being extra nice to her sister.

It's My Turn!

Every single time that I am sitting watching tv with the remote, Julianne comes by and takes it away from me. She then proceeds to change the channel. She's a remote hog just like her dad.

What Are You Singing?

Posted by becky

Today Julianne was with me while I was singing to some music and apparently she was singing too. Well, not words, but her mouth was open and she was certainly humming to the song. Here's a picture of her attempting to hum really loud.

Look What I Can Do

Today Julianne took one of my books off the shelf, put it on the floor, and stood on it. What a weirdo!

My Crazy Ways

Posted by becky

One day I saw Julianne near the trash can in the office and all of a sudden she started pushing it all around the house. I wish she could talk so I could ask her why she does it. She hasn't just done it once. It's pretty common around here.

Around the beginning of November the leaves at our house were brilliant colors. I put Julianne by them for a couple pictures.

Happy Halloween

Posted by becky

This year we decided to stay home to do the whole trick or treating tradition instead of going to Jared's parent's house. Julianne dressed in the costume she wore last year - a victorian witch- and Morgan loves High school Musical, so she was a cheeleader from that show.

Julianne loves to put her hands in the toilet. This is her being caought in the act.
Julianne also fell asleep with her body draped over the arm of the couch. Look at the concentration on Jared's face as he play a very hard song on guitar hero.

Morgan's 7th Birthday

Posted by becky

This is kind of a late post because Morgan's birhtday was on October 12, but I forgot I had pictures of her on that day. My little girl has turned 7! Where has the time gone? She use to be so sweet and let me do everything for her, but now she can be very stubborn and very, very independent.

Jump , Jump , and Away

Posted by becky

We usually like to toss Julianne into the air . She absolutely loves it. Recently though, when we put her back down after tossing her, she wants to keep doing it. We know she wants to because she tries to jump , but she can't seem to get her feet off the ground. Here is a picture of her trying to jump.

knock , knock. Who's there?

Today I heard someone knocking on the front door, and I went to go get the door, when I realized there wasn't anyone there because Julianne was knocking on the door. Now whenever she sees a door closed, she'll knock on it.

Jackson Hole , Wyoming

This past weekend our family went with Jared's family to Jackson Hole. We go there almost every year during the fall. We went on a pioneer covered wagon ride up the mountain to have dinner. We also saw the Bar J Wranglers. They are some ranchers that play guitars and fiddles while they sing cowboy songs and do a comedy sketch while we eat a chuckwagon dinner. The leaves were changing and it was a nice to get away from our hectic schedules.

Wedding Anniversary

Posted by becky

July 31st was our wedding anniversary. Marriage has been a big hurdle, but also a wonderful part of my life. 9 years ago, Jared and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. This year for our anniversary, I wanted to take our girls to where we were married. So we walked around Temple Square and took lots of great pictures, one of which are the doorknobs of the temple. The temple is 105 years old and took 40 years to build. I just love old things like the doorknobs on the temple. They opened the gates to the temple so that we could get up close and climb the stairs. Jared surprised me that day with a framed picture of the Salt Lake Temple because he knows how much I love it.

Pioneer Day

I really wanted to go to This Is The Place Heritage Park , a place where Brigham Young stood and declared "This is the place. Drive on." At the park is Brigham Young's orignal farmhouse, which we got to tour, Mary Fielding Smith's original home, and some of the original log cabins of Salt Lake City. Here's Jared and the girls in front of the Brigham Young Monument that Young's grandson designed. The girls and I are in front of Mary Fielding Smith's home which is 159 years old.

Birthday Cake

Posted by becky

Julianne finally turned one! The last thing we did at her party on July 23rd was eat cake. She was sitting on the counter with the cake after everyone got theirs, and when I wasn't looking, she grabbed a big piece out of the top of the cake and made a big mess on the counter. Sorry the picture is turned. I don't know how to make it upright.

Well, I thought Julianne was safe all by herself downstairs this morning , but no. She has finally learned how to crawl up the stairs. So much for those naps i take while she roams around, unless I get another gate.

I Want Mommy!

When I take Morgan to school, Julianne sees me leave through the door that goes to the garage. She usually cries and I find her waiting at the door when I return. Jared is of course watching her while I'm gone. Today I left her downstairs while I went upstairs and when I returned she was crying by the door to the garage. She must have thought I had left out that door.
