Well, I thought Julianne was safe all by herself downstairs this morning , but no. She has finally learned how to crawl up the stairs. So much for those naps i take while she roams around, unless I get another gate.
When I take Morgan to school, Julianne sees me leave through the door that goes to the garage. She usually cries and I find her waiting at the door when I return. Jared is of course watching her while I'm gone. Today I left her downstairs while I went upstairs and when I returned she was crying by the door to the garage. She must have thought I had left out that door.
I thought it was cute when Morgan dragged her Jump rope around and Julianne went after it trying to catch it.
I got out Morgan's old walking car and let Julianne try it out. Unlike Morgan, Julianne really liked it. She really took off walking using this toy.
I put Julianne In Morgan's playroom to play while I was in another room for awhile. A little later I went to check on her and this is what I found. She was lying in the hall fast asleep.
Morgan has conquered riding her bike. It only took two days for me to teach her. First I held on to her and then let go when she was ready. Then I taught her to stop the bike with her foot touching the ground. Finally , and she still has a little trouble with this, I taught her to start riding the bike by herself. Pretty soon with a little practice she'll get the hang of it.
Jared is usually working, but he took Sunday off to spend with his family. After the baby blessing that day we took a stroll around the lake. Jared never takes walks with me so this was something that meant a lot to me.
Now that Julianne has a few teeth, I give her things that are ok for her to eat. This time I tried and oreo cookie. Even though it makes a big mess , I thought she would enjoy it. So here are my two girls enjoying their oreos.
On Sunday we went to my cousin Arthur's baby blessing. They have the cutest baby named Astrid . Afterwards we went to Liberty Park for a picnic.
